Finding Freedom in God’s Word

“Choose to spend time directly with God. Spend time in prayer, journaling, reading or listening to the bible” - Wesleyne

John 8: 31 to 32:

“Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

This verse is very powerful and it emphasizes the importance of knowing and abiding in the truth. Jesus tells his followers that if they continue in his word, they are truly his disciples and they will know the truth, and the truth will set them free. This message highlights the fact that true freedom comes not from following our own desires or ideas, but from aligning ourselves with God's truth and submitting to his will. It is only by knowing and abiding in the truth that we can experience the true freedom that God desires for us.

Today, you will be challenged to consider your own relationship with the truth and with Jesus himself. You will be invited to reflect on whether you are truly seeking to know and follow the truth, or whether you are more concerned with your own desires and ideas. You will also be reminded that true discipleship involves not just believing in Jesus, but also following him and obeying his commands. By doing so, you can experience the fullness of life and freedom that God desires for you.
