Finding Peace in God's Promises

"You are never ever walking alone. God is with you at all times."- Wesleyne

Word of the Day:

2 Kings 6:16- "Do not be afraid," the prophet answered. "Those who are with us are more than those who are with them."

Wesleyne paints a picture of overwhelming challenges but reminds us that we're never alone in facing them.

God is not a God of defeat. In 2 Kings 6:16, the prophet assures us not to fear, as those with us are more than those against us.

We're never alone because we have the Trinity - God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit - with us at all times.

No matter the magnitude of our challenges, we're reminded that the Holy Spirit dwells within us, filling every gap and comforting us. God the Son sacrificed Himself, declaring us worthy, and God the Father provides for all our needs.

Have you ever had a moment in life when you looked out in a room, your eyes opened up and you thought of all the things that you had to to deal with that day and you said, Lord, there's an army of problems around me. There's an army of people around me. There's an army out there. How am I going to do this? How am I going to fight this battle?

Our verse today in 2 Kings 6 verses 16 gives us a key thing that we always should remember. Do not be afraid, the prophet answered. Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.

Think about that for a moment. Those who are with us, who is with us at every moment of every single day, whether we're sleeping, we're awake, we're scared, we're happy. We always have the presence of the Holy Spirit within us. We always have God the Father and God the Son walking right beside us.

And so if we have the Trinity, God in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit with us at every single moment, that's more than enough to fight the battle for us. And so having God with us at all times,

Maybe the number of people that we have to face are thousands, hundreds of thousands. The mental barriers we have to overcome, the trauma from our childhood, the trauma from our marriage, the trauma from a bad job. It may seem insurmountable, but just remember, you are never ever walking alone. You're never ever walking alone.

God is with you at all times And it's not just got the father. It's got the son. It's got the Holy Spirit And when I think about this, I am reminding reminded that the Holy Spirit He dwells within me He's there to fill up every single gap Within my heart my soul my spirit that feels broken He fills those gaps. I am covered

by the precious blood of God the Son. He died for me. He died so that I may feel whole, so that I may be reminded that I am enough, that I am more than enough because He said I am worthy by sacrificing His life for me. And God the Father, Abba, my provider,

He always makes sure I have everything that I need. I will never go without as long as I know that he is right there for me. He is my father when my earthly father isn't around. He is my father when my husband isn't around.

He is my father. He's the one that I answer to. He is the one that brings me peace. And so if I have God, one God, but showing up in three persons with me at every single moment of every single day,

that I have no reason to fear. I have no reason to worry. I rest in knowing that greater, greater, greater is he that is with me, that is within me than he that is in the world.

Rest on that today. Hold that in your mind, in your heart, in your spirit.
