Getting a New Heart From God

Ezekiel 11:19 to 20:

And I will give them singleness of heart and put a new spirit within them. I will take away their stony, stubborn heart and give them a tender, responsive heart, so they will obey my decrees and regulations. Then they will truly be my people, and I will be their God.

The Lord speaks through the prophet Ezekiel, declaring a message of hope and renewal for His people. In this verse, God promises to replace the stony hearts of His people with hearts of flesh, hearts that are responsive and obedient to His will. This transformation is not something that can be accomplished through human effort, but only by the power of God's Spirit. As we surrender our hearts to Him, He will give us new hearts that are filled with love, compassion, and a desire to serve Him.

Today, you will be reminded of God's faithfulness and His desire to bring you closer to Him. You can trust in His promises, knowing that He is always working for your good and His glory. Open your heart to Him today, allowing Him to replace your stony heart with a heart of flesh. May you be filled with His Spirit, and may your life be a testimony to His grace and love.
