Giving God Control Over Your Life

As humans, our natural inclination is to try to be in control of every circumstance in our lives. When life isn’t going our way, we don’t trust God. It’s so easy to get in the mindset that we can “take the wheel” from Him, to boss Him around, and try to force Him to do things our way. We believe that we are in charge of our lives. If you do everything your way, it will all go right. My way or the highway, right?
Wrong! Trying to be in control and giving God control just doesn’t work, they can’t co-exist. Today, you will learn that He is in control of every aspect of your life and that He has your best interests in mind. He wants you to live the purposeful life that He has predestined for you. He knows what you need much better than you do and He will never abandon you. He will hold you and guide you to live your best life for Him. So lean on Him, cling to Him. You’re in the best hands ever. God bless you.
