When I said my foot is slipping, your unfailing love, Lord, supported me. When my anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy. Psalms 94 verses 18 and 19. When our foot feels like it's slipping, when we feel like we don't have a handle on what's going on around us or inside of us.

God's unfailing love is supporting us. Have you ever slipped on the floor or on a rock and somebody reaches out and they catch your arm, they hold your shoulder, they pull you back? That feeling of security, the feeling of a physical person holding you up, that's what God's love does.

When we feel like we're sliding back into depression, when we're sliding back into anxiety, when we are sliding back into that addiction that we've worked so hard to overcome, when we're sliding back into the ways of the world, when our flesh is overtaking our minds and our desires.

God, it's right there, just like that physical representation when you're about to slip and fall. He's right there holding you up, not just holding you up so you don't fall, not holding you up so you don't falter. He's holding you up and enveloping you in love. He is covering you in his unfailing love.

and our anxiety. What do you get anxious about? I get anxious about...

Is this next month going to be a strong month financially for my business? Are my children getting what they need from only me as their parent? What's the next step that I should take within my life? Should I do this? Should I do that? Should I read this? Should I watch that? Should I allow this person in my life or should I cut this person out?

All of those things can bring me anxiety. And the anxiety can be fleeting or it can be deep anxiety where I feel butterflies in my stomach. I feel uneasy. I can't focus. And in those times, I literally close my eyes and say, Lord, take this anxiety from me. And I know

His love abounds. know when I'm sliding into the depths of anxiety, his love is enveloping me and that knowing that his love, unfailing, unmerited love, no matter what I do, no matter what I say, no matter who I have relationship with, no matter.

If I make a mistake or if I don't, his love is supporting me and that brings me joy. It brings me joy to know that my God, my God who loves me so much, he tells me, release that anxiety, release that fear.

If you're worried about it, if you were trying to figure it out on your own, you're not giving it to me. And that reminder allows me to give it all.

Wesleyne (:

Give it all to him.

So today, when you feel like you're sliding and you're slipping, be reminded that God is supporting you. He is holding you up and allow that to be a consolation to bring you joy. Be blessed today.
