Episode 13

Relying on God’s Promises

“Be careful not to spend your valuable God-given time trying to find your perfect life” - Wesleyne

As you have read and perhaps memorized various passages in the Bible, whats sections have seemed the most difficult to believe? Prophesy? Narrative portions? Doctrinal passages? God’s promises? Many Christians have trouble believing the promises of God. Oh, they sound nice, and sometimes they even cheer us up. But we wonder: Are they really true? Subconsciously at least, we question whether or not God keeps His promises.

Today, you will learn that you need to appropriate God’s promises by learning them through reading and memorization, by seeing your need for them through meditative prayer, and by giving God time to work them out in your daily experience. And may God bless you as you put that into practice.
