Bible Verse of the Day

"Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light."- Micah 7:8

Summary

In today's episode, we explore the power of God's light in our lives, especially during our darkest moments. Life can often bring us to low places—times of grief, illness, or difficult situations where it feels like darkness surrounds us.

But even in these valleys, we are reminded that the Lord is our light and that we are never alone.

Drawing from the stories of Daniel in the lion's den and Joseph being sold into slavery, we learn that even when we fall, God is there to help us rise again.

The key is to call out to God, asking Him to be our light in times of darkness.

This episode encourages us to find comfort in the fact that no matter how dark our circumstances may seem, God is our eternal light. Like Daniel and Joseph, who faced seemingly insurmountable challenges, we, too, can rise above our difficulties when we lean on God's strength.

The message is clear: we are never alone, and even in our darkest hours, God's light will guide us through.

All we need to do is call upon Him with a simple yet powerful prayer: "Lord, be my light."

Do not gloat over me, my enemy. Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light. Micah 7 verses 8. Our enemies, those people who are against us when we fall, they're smiling. They're happy to see that we've fallen, that we're in pain, that we are hurting, that we are

isolating them ourselves. But when we fall, we will rise. Why? Because we don't fall alone. Anytime we stumble or we are in a valley, we know that God is our light. He is right there with us. When Daniel was in the lion's den, he

Many people would have thought that he had fallen. When Joseph was sold into slavery, many people would think that he had fallen.

Wesleyne (:

They always rose up. Joseph, he was instrumental in saving not just his family, but nations. Daniel, once he got out of that lion's den, his life, his ministry, the work that he did was great.

They sat in darkness for a season, but they did not let the darkness overtake them. What does it mean to be in darkness, but not allow darkness to overtake us? It means that we are in a low place. We may be grieving a loss. We may be dealing with an illness. We may be dealing with a difficult job or a difficult situation, but...

Even in that darkness, we pray and we call out to God, Lord, lift this veil of darkness over me. Lord, lift this anxiety from me or take this away from me. Lord, I love you so much and it's so hard for me right now. I'm so sad. I feel attacked. I feel things coming at me from every different.

angle from every different place but Lord I ask that you are my light today. Lord I ask that in this darkness you are my light.

And that, that my friends is what we do when we fall, when we feel like we are in the darkness. We are reminded that the Lord is our light, that we are not in this thing alone.

Wesleyne (:

So today, if you feel a veil of darkness, close your eyes with me right now and say, Lord, be my light. Lord, be my light. That's it. That's all he needs to hear from you. So say it with me now. Lord, be my light.
