Why You Should Seek God

“We must seek the Lord. We can’t just be bystanders in our lives“ - Wesleyne

Psalms 34:4 to 5:

I sought the LORD, and he answered me; He delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to Him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.

These verses underscore the profound relationship between seeking divine guidance and the liberation from personal fears and uncertainties. In the intimate act of reaching out to the Lord, the psalmist paints a picture of not only being heard but also being rescued. It's an expression of the deep faith and trust in God's omnipotence and His unwavering commitment to those who earnestly call upon Him.

The radiant faces of those who look to the Lord signify an inner joy, confidence, and peace that comes from a genuine relationship with the Divine. This imagery serves as a beautiful reminder that, in our moments of doubt and fear, we have a source of hope and strength that never fails. You can take from these verses the lesson that a sincere search for God and reliance on His guidance leads to a life devoid of shame and filled with grace. It encourages a posture of active faith, suggesting that when we look to God, not only are we changed internally, but that transformation is evident externally, radiating hope and assurance to all who witness it.
