Can two people walk together without agreeing on the direction? Aim is three versus three. Such a simple statement, but one that makes you really think deeply. Can you walk along this thing called life with another person who is going in a different direction? This isn't just a spouse, this is a friend, this is family members, this is your...
Colleagues at work. This is everyone in your life What this verse is teaching us is that? It's important for us to first define the direction that we're to find the things that are important to us divine define What are? Hard notes for us. What are maybes and what are yes, I desire this and then once we
know and understand those things on our own and for ourselves, we want to make sure that we find people in our lives, find people that share the same visions, share the same purposes we do. And so not everyone is going to think exactly as you think, but for instance, if going to church every single week is
really important for you that is one of your personal values and you start dating a person and they only go to church sometimes. They only go to church when they feel like it, then that could be something for you that is a non-negotiable. If you have a friend that every time you guys talk, they're using curse words. They don't.
hurt anyone or they don't mean bad by it, but they just use curse words. So as you're talking to them, it's making you cringe and you're thinking, my goodness, I can't even talk to this person without hearing words that make me uncomfortable. That could be an indication that you guys are not walking in the same direction. And you don't just go and blow up all of your relationships.
Wesleyne (:What you do is you ask God to help you discern who you need to have in your life in this moment. Who are the people I need to be surrounded with? Who are the people who are going in the opposite direction of me? And Lord, if they're going in the opposite direction, please remove them from my life. Remove any unhealthy soul ties that I have with that person. And Lord, please allow me to show up as your precious son, your precious daughter.
So again, remember, if you and the person you are walking in life with are not agreeing on the direction, then you need to pray and ask for discernment so that God shows you the position that person should have in your life.
