Living Out God’s Purpose Daily
"God is working in us at every moment of every day, fighting for us to fulfill His good purpose."- Wesleyne
Bible Verse of the Day
"For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose."- Philippians 2:13
This episode delves into understanding why we do the things we do, the words we speak, and the ways we treat others.
It challenges the common belief that we act a certain way because we were "created like this" or because of the influence of others.
Instead, it reminds us that God is constantly working in us to align our will and actions with His purpose.
Our earthly goals, whether they involve wealth, career, or relationships, should reflect and fulfill God's purpose.
If we're unsure of our purpose, we are encouraged to seek God's guidance and pay attention to the activities that bring us joy and fulfillment.
These may be signs pointing toward the unique purpose God has for each of us.
It's easy to get caught up in worldly pursuits, but we must always return to God's word to ensure that our intentions and goals are in line with His will.
Whether it's creating wealth, helping others, or any other endeavor, the ultimate goal should be to fulfill God's purpose in our lives.
By submitting to God and asking Him to reveal His purpose for us, we open ourselves to His guidance, ensuring that our lives are pleasing to Him.

Why do we do the things that we do? Why do we say the words that we say? Why do we treat people in the way that we treat them? Oftentimes we say, I was just created like this. This is how God made me. This is how God wants me to show up in the world. Or we say, well, my mom did this. My dad did this.
this is what I need to do. Or maybe it's your boss at work. I've worked with this person for 10 years and they've always told me to show up this way, to operate in this fashion. And so we just do things. Philippians 2 verses 13 says, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good.
purpose. So I'm going to start with the end of that verse and it says fulfill his good purpose.
Wesleyne (:We are here on this earth to fulfill God's purpose. And when we think about what God's purpose is, we align our purpose with God's purpose. So if you say that my purpose on this earth is to make a lot of money, is to be rich, what we do is we come back to the Bible and we see what does God say about
and being rich. Being rich is not a sin. Having a lot of money is not a sin. But if you idolize money or if you worship money, then that is where your purpose and God's purpose are not aligned. So you take it a little bit further and you say, okay, I want to make a lot of money, but do I just want to make a lot of money and put it in the bank?
So I want to make a lot of money because I want to create generational wealth. want to give to the less fortunate. I want to reinvest and start businesses so that I can provide stable employment for others. That is how we take something that may not be aligned with God's purpose and make it into something that.
is pleasing to God, something that God will...
Wesleyne (:we make it into something pleasing to God. So the first part of that verse says, for it is God who works in you to will and to act. So God is working in us for our will to be his will and to act in the way that he wants us to act. And what we have to remember that God
is working in us at every moment of every day. God is working in us. He is fighting for us. He's working in us, working through us in order to fulfill his good purpose. So I want you to take a moment and ask yourself, what are the markers that
I have to know that I'm fulfilling God's purpose here on earth. The purpose that he has designed for me to go about fulfilling.
How do I know that I'm doing that? Are my actions in line with fulfilling this purpose? Are my desires, is my will in line with fulfilling this purpose? And for many people, it's hard to say, this is my purpose. I know what I'm here on earth to do and what I'm here to accomplish. And it's okay if you don't know what that purpose is. That's when you submit to God and you ask Him.
to reveal his purpose for your life to you. You ask him to give you signs, you ask him to truly show you what that purpose is. And I compel you to think about the activities, the things that you do that just lights you up. It may be when you volunteer in the children's ministry, you are so excited and you get really excited about working with children.
Wesleyne (:sit with that and ask God, so what is the purpose that you have for me to work with these children? Maybe it's when you're able to sit with a business owner and help them get unstuck. You're like, okay, God, what is the purpose that you want me to gain from working with these business owners?
So today friends, I encourage you to understand what God's purpose is for your life. Sit with that, allow that to marinate into your soul and so that your will will be his will. Your actions will be the actions that he has for you to compare.
