Episode 48
The Lord is Your Strength
“Cry out to God today. He is waiting. He wants to hear you. Know that your voice goes directly to his ear” - Wesleyne
Psalms 18: 1 to 6:
I love you, LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I called to the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and I have been saved from my enemies.
Do you know what the Bible means by “The Lord is my strength, rock, fortress, deliverer, and shield”? Well. It means exactly that. This is one area of the word of God where you don’t need to overthink things at all. This word tells us that the Lord defends and protects us at all times, just like a shield is used in battle to defend and protect the one who wields it.
Are trials and frustrations piling up on you? What do you do when you’re at the end of your rope, weakness reigns, and the attacks of the evil one feel relentless? Today, you’re going to learn that your response should always be to remember the Lord is your strength and shield, and to pray. Always ask God to be your strength and shield. Thank Him for all the times He has replaced your weakness with His strength and been your refuge in the storms of life.
